One day workshop - 'Deeper understanding of protocols and practices'
In this stage you will work towards building a framework for a Culturally safe and inclusive workplace, where the dynamics of Cultural differences are proactively managed, increasing consciousness of the dynamics inherent when Cultures interact.
The vital element in this stage of your journey is experience. The best training is first hand experience with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples.
In the one day workshop you will interact with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Community organisations and representatives to learn to implement changes and how to deliver your services or programs using your new understanding of Cultural protocols.
Participants will complete two units from the course in Aboriginal Cultural Education (10213NAT):
